1980 Story
The Henss brand was created by Late Chief Effiom Henry Etim in August, 1980. Derived from his middle name: Henry, and styled with two letter S for difference.
Henss was initially set up as a trading company and based in Calabar, Cross River, South-South of Nigeria. Henss grew out of an earlier trading partnership in the 70s, which Chief Etim was involved in his twenties.
Today, Henss has metamorphosed into a holding vehicle for various business interests of the founder’s living family. A true generational legacy.
The brand is reputed for keeping its commitments.
